Message from the Organizer

Namaste,

We are pleased to share that Nepal will host the 3rd International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics-junior in Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Province, Nepal during October 3-10, 2024. It is organized by Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) and co-organized by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).

The aim of the IOAA-Juniors is to introduce early high school students, less than 16 years, to the marvels of the Cosmos and promote their knowledge in the area of Astronomy and Astrophysics. By participating in such international events, they have the opportunity to meet students with the same interests from all over the world.

It is the first time that Nepal is hosting an International Olympiad. We hope to offer the best hospitality during your stay in Nepal.
